BEIJING, Jan. 28 -- At the beginning of the year 2025, a training formation consisting of multiple types of ships attached to a naval flotilla under the Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command conducted a live-fire coordination and confrontation drill in the South China Sea, with an aim to test the flotilla’s systematic combat capability and the effectiveness of cross-domain coordinated fire strike.
