A combined-arms brigade assigned to the Chinese PLA 81st Group Army recently conducted a live-fire exercise at a training range in north China, with the aim to hone the grass-roots commanders' capability in commanding combined operations.
In addition, the brigade also tried to adopt multi-subject simulation training systems to accelerate the training cycle of such subjects as armored vehicle driving, UAV operation and artillery firing. These training not only laid solid technical and tactical foundation for the troops, but also made the troops better prepared for collaborative operations in complex environments.
