Golden Dragon 2025 joint military exercise kicks off at China-Cambodia joint logistics and training center in Ream Naval Base

BEIJING, April 6 -- The inauguration ceremony of China-Cambodia joint logistics and training center was held at the Ream Naval Base in Cambodia, on April 5. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the ceremony. A delegation sent by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) also participated in the event.

At the ceremony, both sides stressed that the construction and operation of the center is conducive to tightening the practical cooperation between the two militaries, better fulfilling international obligations and providing international public security goods.

At the ceremony, the two militaries also launched the China-Cambodia Golden Dragon 2025 joint military exercise. Afterwards, the naval vessels of the two militaries engaged in formation tactics, operation of maritime communication equipment, and other training subjects.

The Golden Dragon series of joint military exercises is a regular military cooperation program between the Chinese and Cambodian militaries and is conducive to improving the iron-clad friendship between the two countries and enhancing strategic coordination between the two militaries. The Golden Dragon 2025 is the sixth iteration of the series.
