The comprehensive supply ship DongPinghu (Hull 902), the guided-missile frigate Luohe (Hull 545), and the guided-missile destroyer Xining (Hull 117) attached to a naval flotilla under the Chinese PLA Northern Theater Command recently conducted maritime training on such subjects as maritime targeted strikes, replenishment-at-sea, VBSS (visit, board, search, and seizure), damage control, as well as maritime search and rescue operations, in a bid to hone the troops' full-time and all-area combat capability at sea.
