SINGAPORE, May 15 -- The Chinese warships including the minesweeper/hunter Chishui (Hull 729) and the guided-missile frigate Xuchang (Hull 536), together with the Singaporean naval frigate RSS Steadfast (70), departed from the dock of the Changi Naval Base (CNB) in Singapore on May 14 to join with the Singaporean naval mine countermeasure vessel RSS Bedok in the designated waters for a two-day maritime live drill, which is part of the "China-Singapore Exercise Cooperation 2025" joint maritime exercise.
The drill includes such subjects as passing through the mine threat zone, gunnery firing, joint search and rescue, and medical evacuation.
