Over 760 handcrafted Chinese PLA Navy's vessel models shown in this video are all made by a military enthusiast from Hangzhou City, China's Zhejiang Province. His name is Yu Zhendong.
In 2013, Yu Zhendong signed up for the Chinese military at the age of 18 but failed. Since then, Yu Zhendong has been insisting on making various models of naval vessels in his spare time.
The Type 052D guided-missile destroyer Kunming was the first warship model he made. Most of the warship models were created by using computer software to build 3D models and then using 3D printing technology to complete the production.
Since 2017, he has made more than 760 ship models, each of which is in a scale of 1:700.
"These models are not merely static products. They represent my yearning for the Chinese Navy to become a world-class navy, and are the witness to the development and growth of the PLA Navy. "
