BEIJING, July 2 -- On June 28, the 14th female pilot cadets recruitment assessment was conducted at the pilot cadets recruitment assessment base in Jinan City, east China's Shandong Province. This is the first time in four years that the Chinese PLA Air Force has recruited female pilot cadets from high school graduates nationwide.
This year's recruitment and selection process will pay more attention to the female pilot cadets' cultural quality, flying potential, psychology, and willpower.
The assessment involves more than 100 subjects and aims to comprehensively assess the candidates' long-term health condition and human-machine adaptability, with a focus on flight endurance, spatial orientation, and simulated operation, among others. The psychological assessment mainly includes basic cognitive capability, stress resistance, and dynamic behavior observation.
The final admission decisions will be made in early July. Among the female pilot cadets to be admitted, those with outstanding college entrance exam results and exceptional flight potential may have the opportunity to become "dual-enrollment" pilot cadets of the PLA Air Force and to study at Peking University, Tsinghua University, or Beihang University.
