BEIJING, July 15 -- The 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce recently conducted ship-aircraft coordination drill in the Gulf of Aden.
Based on the complex meteorological and hydrological conditions, the drill involved such subjects as joint anti-submarine, joint search and rescue, and round-the-clock helicopter flight.
The drill further enhanced the tactical and technical proficiency of the troops and honed their capabilities in undertaking diversified tasks in the high seas.
