On October 1, the very first day of the Chinese National Day holidays, the Chinese government evacuated the first batch of Chinese nationals and their foreign relatives from Lebanon amid escalating tensions between Lebanon and Israel. All Chinese citizens who expressed a desire to leave Lebanon have been successfully relocated up to now.
