BEIJING, Feb.29 -- At the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which holds the rotating presidency of the SCO, a delegation of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (MND) is currently attending the meeting among the international military cooperation departments under the defense ministries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in Kazakhstan from February 27 to March 1, and during which, they exchanged views with other parties on SCO defense cooperation in 2024, said Chinese Defense Spokesperson Senior Colonel Zhang Xiaogang at a regular press briefing on Thursday.
