Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador recently disclosed his letter to US President Joe Biden, which mentioned that the US was suspected of providing fund assistance to several anti-governmental NGOs and institutions, a brutal act of interference behavior for the country. This event re-exposed the US blatant interference in the internal affairs of other countries and even plotting in overthrowing local government in a hegemonic way.

Long track record of interference with other countries

After WWII, amid the decline of old capitalist countries including the UK, France and Germany, the industrial economy of the US had developed rapidly owing to it keeping away from the battlefield, which laid its foundation of the hegemonic position in the capitalist or even the whole world. Since then, it began to interfere with internal affairs of other countries and stir up conflicts for the sake of maintaining and expanding its global interest.

In 1959, Fidel Castro led the Cuban people to win victory in the revolution and established the only socialist country in the Western Hemisphere. As the leader of the capitalist world, the US soon imposed an economic blockade upon Cuba and attempted to topple the Castro regime by supporting the opposition faction in the country. In January 1961, the US announced to sever diplomatic relations with Cuba. For the over six decades later, the US had been exploiting armed intervention, assassination, political oppression, economic sanctions and other means to interfere with the internal affairs of this country in an attempt to subvert its existing regime.

In addition, the US had been behaving disgracefully by involving in a series of political events, including the collapse of the Iran Mosaddegh government, the toppling of Guatemalan Arbenz regime, the military coup in Congo, as well as the "Arab Spring", "color revolutions" and turbulence over the amendment bill in Hong Kong. The US government randomly ignores international rules and spares no efforts to disturb, disrupt and subvert foreign regimes in order to safeguard its own interest and pursue so-called absolute security.

Network technology becomes weapon for US interfere activities

The US also fully utilizes its technological advantages on the internet to satisfy its needs on interfering with internal affairs and subverting regimes of other countries.

According to an investigation jointly released by National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center (VERC) and 360 Security Technology Inc., the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had long abused cyber techniques to attack other countries and launch "color revolutions" around the world.

In addition, a US enterprise with military background has also developed TOR ("The Onion Router") technology that enables global internet access in an untraceable way and provided it to anti-governmental forces in Iran, Tunisia, Egypt and other countries for free to facilitate them eluding local legal government audit and surveillance.

US interventionism radiated to allies

For a long time, the US has been exporting "color revolutions" and attempting to overturn foreign regimes by providing support to local opposition factors, often in the name of moral and legal cloaks such as "democracy" and "freedom" to cover its illegal actions. However, Mexico, the victim of recent US interference, has been regarded as a traditional ally by the US for many years. It is not only an important participant in the North America Free Trade Area (NAFTA) that is extraordinarily underscored by the US, but also a key partner in the so-called Friendshoring policies of the US when competing with China.

The fact that the US even encroaches on its hardcore allies clearly demonstrates that its illegal interference has nothing to do with ideology, much less the values of "democracy" and "freedom". For the US, the ultimate goal in its interest is to pursue absolute security and cement its hegemony.

Therefore, it can be seen that a number of US allies in Europe have become the targets of surveillance and interference in the "PRISM" scandal. European leaders including French President Macron, German President Steinmeier and Former German Merkel were given no privacy by American spies. And in the latest leaking incident, the US spied confidential information including the internal discussions by high-ranking officials of the ROK government and the military deployment information of Ukraine.

At a time when US interference spread all over the world, with which even its allies can't get away, the greatest disrupter of the global order is evidently most deserved for the US.
