CASABLANCA, Morocco, Jan. 26 (ChinaMil) -- The 27th Chinese naval escort taskforce, consisting of the guided-missile destroyer Haikou, the guided-missile frigate Yueyang and the comprehensive supply ship Qinghaihu, arrived at Casablanca, a port city and also the largest city in Morocco, for a 5-day friendly visit on Wednesday morning.

During the visit, the taskforce will host a deck reception on the destroyer Haikou, commanding officers of the taskforce will call on military and local government leaders of Morocco. The sailors of the two navies will visit each other's warships and hold friendly football matches.

China and Morocco established diplomatic relations in 1958, the two countries have forged profound traditional friendship in the past decades. The 27th Chinese naval escort taskforce is the second Chinese naval fleet that has visited Morocco.

Morocco is the last stop in the taskforce's global port call voyage.
