BEIJING, May 28 (ChinaMil) -- Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) General Xu Qiliang met here with Mongolian Defense Minister Enkhbold on May 25.

Gen. Xu said that China is willing to make joint efforts with Mongolia to deliver on the important consensuses reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Mongolian leaders, respect each other's core interests, and keep expanding cooperation areas.

He hoped the armed forces of the two countries will maintain high-level contact, deepen cooperation, strengthen communication, and enhance strategic mutual trust, so as to push forward the pragmatic development of bilateral military relations and provide powerful support for the friendly cooperation between the two countries.

Enkhbold said Mongolia always prioritizes enhancing cooperation with China in its foreign policy, and is willing to promote the docking of development strategies with China to achieve common development.

Mongolia is grateful to China for its support and help for Mongolia's national defense and military development, Enkhbold said. He expected the two sides to strengthen high-level contact, deepen exchange and cooperation in peacekeeping, anti-terrorist operations and disaster prevention and mitigation, to consolidate the foundation of bilateral relations.
