A source from China's Ministry of National Defense has dismissed a US claim that China struck US Forces with laser in the East China Sea.
The claim is groundless and fabricated, the source told the Global Times on Thursday, requesting anonymity.
The remarks come after China was accused of attacking US personnel operating in the East China Sea with nonlethal lasers, US-based media Popular Mechanics reported on Wednesday.
