China urges the U.S. Congress to cease reviewing and advancing China-related negative acts, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference on Tuesday. The remarks followed an act adopted by the U.S. Senate on June 8 with the intention to "boost the country's ability to compete with China in science and technology." The worst enemy of the U.S. is itself, and what U.S. lawmakers should focus on is getting their own house in order, Wang said.
