BEIJING, Sept. 7 -- Recently, an artillery element assigned to a regiment under the Xinjiang Military Command, which is stationed in the hinterland of the plateau at an elevation of more than 4500m, conducted a live-fire field training exercise with new-type truck-mounted artillery systems. The exercise focused on testing the troops’ comprehensive combat capability in unfamiliar plateau areas.
