DALIAN, July 19 -- After three days of fierce competition, the Navy Cup sailing regatta for sailors of Chinese naval academies and schools wrapped up at Lingjiao Bay in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, on July 17.
A total of 12 sailing teams from six naval academies and schools participated in this year's event. Over 70 participating athletes and coaches competed during the contest and exchanged experience afterwards, establishing deep friendships. Among them, there were long-established teams that have won medals in international competitions, veteran teams with strong fighting spirit and rich experience, as well as young teams full of determination and courage.
After three days of intense competition, two teams from the Dalian Naval Academy ranked first and second. Teams from other naval academies and schools, such as the Naval Petty Officers School, the Naval Logistics Academy and the Naval University of Engineering, also achieved good results.
