BEIJING, July 26 -- According to the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian militaries, the Chinese and Russian naval vessels will soon hold the third joint maritime patrol in the western and northern waters of the Pacific Ocean, according to a written statement released by the Chinese Ministry of National Defense on Wednesday.
This operation does not target any third party, and has nothing to do with the current international and regional situation, said the written statement.
