KAMPONG CHHNANG, Cambodia, May 25 -- The Chinese troops participating in the China-Cambodia "Golden Dragon 2024" joint exercise dispatched a medical unit to carry out free clinics at a local health center in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia on May 22, local time.
柬埔寨磅清扬5月24日电 当地时间5月22日，中柬“金龙-2024”联演中方参演部队派出医疗分队，前往柬埔寨磅清扬省的毕姆卫生所开展义诊活动。
The Chinese medical unit consisted of 20 medical staff members, involving nine specialties including orthopedics and endocrinology. On the morning of May 22 alone, the medical team served more than 300 local people with on-site diagnosis and treatment, and distributed more than 500 boxes of medicines.
此次义诊中方医疗分队开设了骨科、内分泌科等9个科室，20余名医护人员现场提供诊疗服务。仅22日上午，医疗分队共接诊当地村民300余人次，累计发放药品500多盒。
Prior to that, the Chinese service members visited a local school and donated school supplies and other materials to the teachers and students there on May 20, local time.
当地时间20日，中柬“金龙-2024”联演中方参演部队官兵还看望慰问了磅清扬省的丹克茂学校在校师生，并赠送学习用品等物资。
It is learnt that these two charity activities were an important part of the China-Cambodia "Golden Dragon 2024" joint exercise, aiming to further enhance the friendship between the people of the two countries.
据了解，这两次献爱心活动是此次中柬“金龙-2024”联演的重要内容，旨在进一步增进中柬两国人民之间的友好情谊。
