BEIJING, Feb. 28 -- The China Coast Guard (CCG) conducted law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters of China's Huangyan Dao and its surrounding areas on February 27, according to a written statement released by the CCG.
Since the beginning of February, the CCG has consistently intensified law enforcement patrols in the territorial waters of Huangyan Dao and its surrounding areas, implemented regular air-sea patrols and control measures, and carried out tracking and monitoring, warning and expelling, and VBSS (Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure) operations in accordance with laws and regulations.
These measures are taken to further enhance the control over the relevant waters and resolutely safeguard China's national territorial sovereignty as well as maritime rights and interests.
