VICTORIA, July 15 -- The Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark on Harmonious Mission 2024 rounded off its visit to Seychelles on July 12, local time, and departed for Tanzania, the second stop of the mission.
维多利亚7月15日 电 当地时间7月12日，执行“和谐使命-2024”任务的中国海军“和平方舟”号医院船圆满完成对塞舌尔的访问，前往此次任务的第二站坦桑尼亚。
During the seven-day visit and medical service, Peace Ark provided free medical service to more than 4,800 patients, and completed more than 60 surgeries, including cataract recovery and laparoscopic cholecystectomy, receiving wide praise from the local people.
为期7天的访问和医疗服务中，“和平方舟”号医院船免费为4800余人次提供医疗服务，成功实施白内障复明、腹腔镜胆囊切除等手术60余例，受到塞民众广泛赞誉。
In addition, Peace Ark dispatched several medical teams to local hospitals, communities and coast guard forces to carry out joint treatment and provide first aid skills training.
此外，医院船还派出多支医疗分队深入当地医院、社区、海岸警卫队开展联合诊疗和急救技能培训。
Medical staff assigned to the ship also held exchange activities including art performance and friendly basketball match with the Seychelles side, and interacted with local children of disability.
任务人员还与塞方联合举行文艺汇演、篮球友谊赛，走访慰问特殊儿童群体。
This was Peace Ark's second visit to Seychelles, since the first visit in 2010, and was well received by the Seychelles side. Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan expressed his welcome and gratitude, affirmed the enduring and healthy development of the relations between Seychelles and China and expressed his expectation to the China-Africa summit to be held in Beijing this autumn.
塞总统拉姆卡拉旺对中国海军“和平方舟”号医院船的到访表达欢迎与感谢，对塞中两国关系的持续健康发展给予高度肯定，表示非常期待今年秋季在北京召开的新一届中非合作论坛峰会。
