DOUALA, Cameroon, Oct. 16 -- The Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark, which is on the Mission Harmony-2024, wrapped up its maiden visit to Cameroon on Monday, local time, and departed from the Port of Douala for Benin, the tenth stop of the mission.
杜阿拉10月16日电 当地时间14日，执行“和谐使命-2024”任务的中国海军和平方舟医院船驶离杜阿拉港，圆满结束对喀麦隆的首次访问，前往此次任务的第十站贝宁。
During the seven-day goodwill visit to Cameroon, the Peace Ark provided medical service for more than 6,800 patients, conducted nearly 3,000 auxiliary medical tests, and succeeded in performing 126 surgeries, winning wide praise from the people of Cameroon.
在喀麦隆为期7天的友好访问中，和平方舟医院船累计为6800余人次提供医疗服务，开展辅助检查检验近3000人次，先后实施手术126例，受到喀方民众广泛赞誉。
Besides the medical service provided on the main platform, the Peace Ark dispatched several expert teams to local hospitals and military forces to carry out joint diagnosis and treatment, academic exchanges, and first aid skills training, thereby effectively promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the medical domain.
除主平台接诊外，医院船还派出多支专家分队前往当地医院、军队，开展联合诊疗、学术交流、急救技能培训等活动，有效促进中喀双方在卫生健康领域的交流合作。
During the visit, representatives of the Peace Ark also went to the University of Douala, a children's home and an air force base to conduct health lectures and cultural activities, and held friendly football matches with their Cameroonian counterparts.
访问期间，任务官兵代表还赴杜阿拉大学、儿童之家、空军基地开展健康知识讲座和文化联谊，与喀军官兵举行足球友谊赛。
When the Peace Ark left the port, the Cameroonian side held a grand farewell ceremony at the dock. Cameroonian military and political officials and local people, staff of the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon, and representatives of Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese came to the dock to see the ship off.
医院船离港时，喀方在码头举行隆重的欢送仪式，喀军政官员和当地民众，我驻喀麦隆大使馆工作人员、中资机构员工、华人华侨代表等在码头送行。
